Who you are dealing with

Ad Personam is the business name of Giulia De Stefano, a sole trader in Sydney, ABN 63 995 410 383. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that business, and “you” means the person or company named on the quote.

The agreement

Before any work starts you get a written quote or booking confirmation setting out the scope, the fee, the dates and what you will receive. That document and this page together form the agreement. Where the two disagree, the quote wins, because it was written for your project and this page was not.

A booking is confirmed when you accept it in writing. Until then a date is not held.

Fees and payment

Fees, deposits and payment dates are the ones on your quote. We are registered for GST, so amounts include GST unless the quote says otherwise.

Changes, postponement and cancellation

Plans change, and weddings especially. Tell us as early as you can and we will do what we reasonably can to move the date. Any deposit and any cancellation fee are the ones set out in your quote; work already carried out is payable.

If something outside anyone’s control stops us attending, we will offer the next available date or return what has been paid for work not yet done.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes are the ones on your quote, and they run from the shoot date. Where we need something from you to finish, such as approvals, access, brand files or account access, the clock pauses until we have it.

What you give us

If you supply material — logos, photographs, music, existing footage — you confirm you are allowed to use it and to let us use it, and that anyone identifiable in it has agreed to appear. We rely on that, and we are not responsible for a claim arising from material you supplied.

Where we film on your premises or at your event, you are responsible for telling us about anything that affects safety or access, and for any permission the venue requires.

What we make, and who can use it

Copyright in what we shoot and edit stays with us. Once the work is paid for, you get an unlimited, ongoing licence to use the finished content for your own purposes, including advertising, and for as long as you like. You do not need to ask us again, and you do not pay again.

We may show the work in our own portfolio, on this site and on social media, and name you as the client. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not. Raw and unused footage is not part of the delivery unless your quote says it is.

Results

We will do the work carefully and to a professional standard. What we cannot do is promise a particular number of followers, leads or sales, because those depend on the platforms, the market and your business as much as on the content. Any figure discussed is an expectation, not a guarantee.

If something goes wrong

Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, and nothing here limits them. Beyond those, our liability for a claim connected to the work is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it.

Tell us first. Most things are fixed faster by a phone call than by anything else in this page.
